The plain truth is affiliate marketing is not hard at all. It is very easy to do, but it does require help to become successful. It is not something that should be attempted alone. The internet is vast and full of knowledge. Some sites are very good and. very informative. Others not so much. It is littered with pitfalls and schemes intent on making someone besides you very rich with the promise of guidance and training. I am talking about all of the “Make Money Now”, the “Done For You”, and the “Instant Success” headlines you see online. These sites are typically ranked very high within Google Search, but there is a reason for that. We will get into SEO in a later post.

Remember me say I knew you? If you are new and are struggling, it is probably because you are mixed up with one of these programs as we speak. The promise of wealth and fortune from a smooth talking salesman trained to get you to commit your money to make them money.

Everywhere you look online you see these programs that advertise start now for $1, $19.99, or $37 to get the training you need. You feel like this is the solution to your problem and join openly and willingly only to find out what you bought was not what it appeared. Yes, they let you in and grant you basic training. Soon they hit you with the up sells that can range into the 1000’s of dollars for their premium training. If you fell for this, I am sorry, but I can offer a solution or alternative to this issue.

My Beginning In Affiliate Marketing

In case you was wondering, this is exactly how I personally got my start in the affiliate marketing world. I joined countless done for you programs and every one of them turned out to be bogus. I spent loads of money to find out I had been scammed.

I clicked a link within the post and was delivered to a landing page for Wealthy Affiliate where I read about their program and platform. I must say, compared to the program I was entangled in at the time, Wealthy Affiliate appeared to be like a light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

The truth is to be successful, it will take some work and time to get up and running. The process of affiliate marketing is not for everyone. Although you can pay for membership and join instantly, I would suggest you enter through the free starter program to ensure this is for you before you commit to spending money on something you do not believe in. Starter Program

Wealthy Affiliate provides everything you need to become successful in one place. They give you everything you could ever need to start, run, and grow a thriving affiliate marketing business.

When you sign up and enter the platform you will see this page.

Enter your email and information and you will be taken to our Create a HUB. This is the nerve center of your business. Once there you will select a Niche. Do you recall the words from. earlier? “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Your niche is your specialty. Make sure it is something you enjoy. This prevents you from getting bored when creating content for your site. You will see this screen.

You will next be prompted to select a Niche in order to build your HUB. Lets say for a second you have a personal interest in Fishing. You have an idea that you can sell Fishing Lures as a Niche. Who doesn’t love to Fish after all? I know I do and would love to learn more about them within your articles. Enter your selection and you will be provided with suggestions. Here is an example.

Scroll down and find something that interest you. This will be your niche and your HUB will be built around it. If you do not see something that interest you, just click regenerate and more options will appear. Do not settle for the first thing you see. You will need to select something that interest YOU. For the sake of this post, I am going to select the Walleye Lures Niche. Next, you will select a Brand (Or Name of Your Site). See Image below.

I will select “TackleTrend” to use as an Example. Select it and click create your HUB. You will then see this. Your BluePrint To Success will contain everything you need including our SiteContent AI Writing Platform. Enter a Keyword and it does the heavy lifting of the content creation process. It is just your responsibility to read and polish your content to make it your own before you publish it.
